Kate Frisina, a Taylorville, Illinois native, started her career doing high school and community theatre in
the Midwest area. She started her training at the prestigious conservatory, The Theatre School,
formally known as The Goodman School of Drama in Chicago,Il.

After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she headed west to Los Angeles where she worked
steadily in TV and national commercials for over 20 years. Kate has worked with many celebrities,
including Michael J. Fox, Bea Arthur, Jason Alexander and Harry Anderson.

In addition to acting in front of the camera, Kate was also very involved in the theatre community. She
was a member of the highly regarded Theatre West, and a best performance award winner for a role
she originated from a play that was published through Samuel French, Inc, called Ladies In Waiting.

Kate then produced her best work, her sons, Max and Duke. Since returning to the Midwest with her
family, she has been certified to teach Speech/Theatre from Lindenwood University and active in
choreographing local middle/high school productions. She is also a talent for Talent Plus, a
SAG/AFTRA franchised agency in the St. Louis area.

Kate looks forward to teaching the skills she has been using in her own career to help students fulfill
their dreams of working in the "business", or just acquiring the confidence that life requires.
